So cool. Was listening to the podcast of CBC Halifax Radio Noon and heard my daughter Catharine Pendrel, nominated for NB Newsmaker of the Year. She is pretty awesome and has just, in this month's Velo News, been named International Mountain Bike Woman of the Year. The 2010 season saw Catharine win gold at both the Offenburg, Germany World Cup and the Wyndham, USA World Cup, and silver at Val di Sole, Italy. Not too shabby child won the Overall Mountain Bike World Cup title as well as the Canadian National Mountain Bike Championships. Makes me feel like I need to work harder.
