The Professional Writers’ Association (PWAC) Atlantic hosts its first regional workshop. Presenters were Akou Connel, Paul Lima, Marion Soubliere, and myself. The response to the workshop was terrific and we may do it again.

Geoff Pendrel opens Oak Bay Bikes West with four partners. OBB is the bike store for recreational and competitive cyclists on Vancouver Island. Turnout for the opening was fabulous and the boys look set to make a success of the venture.

A meeting with Lorimer Publishing, Halifax NS and a decision to reprint my first four books. Looking forward to seeing if they change the covers.

Catharine and I participated as stand in athletes in the final dress rehearsal for the Vancouver Winter Olympics. We marched behind the Kazakhstan flag and were treated to a run through of the opening ceremonies.
